In an effort to conserve the use of fossil fuels, [Martin] Kleinschmit now owns and manages MarLin Wind & Solar, LLC. He currently holds positions on a rural water district board and the Nebraska Farmers Union. His wife, Linda, also is a longtime champion for the family farm, preservation of natural resources and the rural way of life. The other Nebraska honorees are Keith Berns and his brother, Brian, who are co-owners and operators of Providence Farms at Bladen.
